Example listing. Björkdalen Ridgård is a quiet full-livery yard set among birch woods and farmland about 20 minutes from Uppsala. Horses live in airy 3.5 x 3.5 m boxes and go out every day in small, stable groups, with sand paddocks for the wettest months. Staff handle feeding, mucking out, rugging and bringing horses in for the farrier and vet. The heated indoor arena and floodlit outdoor school make riding easy through the long Swedish winter, and there are miles of forest tracks straight from the yard. The price includes hay analysed each season and a daily check by the resident yard manager.
